Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee Knocks Half a Million Doors Statewide

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee reached a significant milestone of over 500,000 doors knocked statewide since the beginning of the year on Monday. This milestone was reached more than a month earlier than in either 2022 or 2024.

“The word is out and voters from Butler to Bensalem are fired up and ready to vote for our Democratic State House candidates,” said PA HDCC Executive Director Madeline Zann. “At this rate, we are on track to knock a million doors in record time.”

“With this level of enthusiasm, we are focused on delivering big for voters in November, expanding our State House majority and achieving a Democratic trifecta where we can pass landmark legislation like raising the minimum wage, providing paid family leave, bringing down costs, and tackling big tech corruption on day one,” said Zann.

Top door-knockers in battleground campaigns include Brad Chambers (HD-41), Bryan Allen (HD-18), Tim Hayes (HD-143), Sara Agerton (HD-88) and Hadley Haas (HD-44).

This milestone is due in part to serious investment in State House districts across the state, with campaigns staffing up earlier than ever and an increase in early volunteer enthusiasm. This slate of Democratic candidates is the largest in Pennsylvania since at least the year 2000, with a Democrat running in more than 90% of State House seats.

Candidates and their campaigns will be celebrating the milestone by continuing to knock doors weekly in the heat and rain to talk about the issues affecting voters most.
