On Wednesday, PA HDCC Chair Tina Davis joined Majority Whip Dan Miller, the Allegheny State House Delegation, and local Democratic candidates to kick off a press tour highlighting how the Democratic majority is delivering for people across the Commonwealth
PITTSBURGH, Pa., Wednesday, July 31 — Today, the Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee (PA HDCC) held a press conference at Bellevue Elementary to launch “The People’s Majority, The People’s Priorities” campaign tour in Pittsburgh. The tour will take Reps on the Road to highlight how the Democratic majority in the PA State House is delivering on people’s priorities across the state.
When the people of Allegheny County and Pennsylvania gave Democrats the majority in the PA House of Representatives, they got to work on their priorities. The people’s majority delivered a state budget and landmark legislation that puts working Pennsylvanians first. This November, Democrats are going to hold the House and expand the people’s majority to continue fighting for their priorities in Harrisburg.
PA HDCC will be taking this message throughout the Commonwealth for the next 97 days until the General Election on November 5th. Additional tour stops to be announced.

Announcement Highlights:
“I have seen what a difference a majority makes,” said Hadley Haas, Democratic candidate for PA HD 44. “Through my advocacy work I know that public education and gun safety are two priorities for the communities in my district. They have not been priorities for my opponent. We deserve to be represented by someone who shows up with courage and compassion and who fights for our communities… We have been building a strong, broad, enthusiastic coalition behind this campaign. We have talked to thousands and thousands of voters, and our message is resonating. This is now one of the best opportunities to strengthen this majority in our region.”

“Most of us have a story about the value of unions, the value of organized labor, and how they impacted our families and how they brought us into the middle class,” said Majority Whip Dan Miller. “That’s something for a bunch of us where we don’t forget that. That was a key priority for us as members of the new majority to get done. We’ve been able to do a whole bunch of bills on the labor front that are designed to help union voices, labor voices, and grow the middle class in our state.”
