100 Days From Election Day: PA House Democrats Are Building Major Momentum
HARRISBURG, PA — 100 days out from the general election this Sunday, the Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee (HDCC) is celebrating growing momentum and an expanded Democratic majority within our reach. Democratic candidates statewide will mark the milestone over the weekend by hosting voter canvassing events in their districts.
Enthusiasm Statistics:
187 Democratic candidates running in 92% of PA districts - GOP has just 155 candidates.
Over 416,034 doors knocked this year
Over 512,000 calls made this year
Over 1,406,930 texts sent this year
With 100 days left to mobilize, the HDCC is eager to dramatically increase these numbers and connect with each and every voter across the commonwealth on core issues.
“From dials to door knocks, and from candidate recruitment to statewide coordination - all of the building blocks of voter enthusiasm are in place here in Pennsylvania for an absolutely massive win on Election Day for House Democrats,” said HDCC Executive Director Madeline Zann. “We are more organized and prepared than ever to deliver wins up and down the ballot, and we’re ready to get to work on day one raising the minimum wage, bringing down costs, tackling corporate greed, and enshrining reproductive rights.”
