‘Blue Wave Warning’: PA House Democratic Campaign Committee Announces Historic Investment in 10 Battleground Candidates

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee on Wednesday announced their most ambitious slate of battleground State House candidates in recent history in their new ‘Blue Wave Warning’ Program, identifying 10 Democrats across the state who will receive the highest level of investment and support through November.

Reflective of the unique political environment, the HDCC is targeting red seats that they believe to be fully within reach, including seats traditionally considered Republican strongholds.

“PA House Democrats are on offense. Post-Labor Day, we have re-evaluated the map and made strategic investments in a number of races as the environment continues to shift in our favor and we prepare for an expanded majority in November,” said HDCC Executive Director Madeline Zann.

“Our Democratic candidates are parents, teachers, business leaders, union members, social workers, veterans, and dedicated public servants who have proven that they can connect authentically with voters as they make the case that outrageous gas and utility costs, schools stretched too thin, and unattainable housing does not have to be the status quo in Pennsylvania.”

The PA HDCC is investing strategic guidance, staff resources, training, and fundraising support for these races to ensure they are in the best possible position to win in November. 

“Democrats are meeting the moment when it comes to issues actually affecting people - from the cost of living, to stagnant wages, to corporate greed on issues like data centers and surveillance pricing. House Republicans have completely lost voters' trust on the economy, but our candidates believe deeply that working families deserve better - and people are listening,” said Zann.
